Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel - Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the contracting function by reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and interpreting various complex agreements
• Provide strategic mentorship on contractual and business risks and advise on contract interpretation and potential disputes
• Collaborate with management and legal representatives on commercial initiatives and analyze legal matters that arise

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• License to practice law in Illinois
• At least 5 years of experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements
• Experience with global business transactions is preferred
• Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
