Illinois Licensed Corporate Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager in Corporate Accounting to oversee the corporate accounting function and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for accurate reporting
• Oversee general ledger functions and ensure accuracy of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing training and performance feedback

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant, or actively pursuing professional licensure
• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in public accounting or within a medium to large international organization
• Familiarity with lease accounting and related tools is highly preferred
• Experience with US GAAP accounting and SOX-compliant controls for multinational companies
