Job Summary

To coordinate high-quality pharmaceutical services, the full-time Illinois Licensed eClinical Pharmacist will review prescriptions, consult with medical staff, and analyze drug therapy while working a 3rd shift schedule of 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, covering every other weekend, with remote work available for those residing within 65 miles of the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Review and clarify prescriptions to ensure optimal drug therapy for patients
• Consult with medical and nursing staff to coordinate pharmaceutical care
• Analyze drug interactions and evaluate appropriateness of medications

Required qualifications

• Illinois Pharmacist License (PHRM)
• Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred
• Two years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Completion of a Pharmacy Practice PGY1 residency preferred
• Board Certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties preferred
