Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director, Legal (Employment) to serve as the employment law subject matter expert.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Legal and People departments with various legal issues related to the global workforce
- Partner with the HR Business Partner team on workplace investigations and employee relations matters
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and policies related to employment and employee relations
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois and/or California
- 4-year undergraduate degree
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- 7+ years of experience as an attorney focused on labor and employment law
- Experience managing and advising clients with global workforces
