Illinois Licensed Energy Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Illinois Licensed Energy Engineer, the full-time remote position will manage energy efficiency applications, conduct energy audits, and collaborate with contractors and project teams to enhance energy-saving initiatives within the Ameren Illinois service territory.

Key responsibilities

• Review technical energy efficiency applications for incentives and rebates for Ameren Illinois customers
• Assess various energy systems in industrial and commercial markets to identify efficiency improvements
• Research and implement technology changes to enhance energy efficiency programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience in energy auditing and energy efficiency programs
• Ability to work effectively in a technical team environment
• Strong understanding of energy efficiency concepts and the Illinois Technical Reference Manual
