Illinois Licensed Energy Engineer
Job Summary
To support energy efficiency initiatives, the full-time Illinois Licensed Energy Engineer will review technical energy efficiency applications, assess energy systems in commercial and industrial markets, and research technology improvements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review technical energy efficiency applications for Ameren Illinois customers
- Analyze energy systems such as HVAC and lighting for efficiency improvements
- Research and recommend technology changes to enhance energy efficiency programs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience working collaboratively on technical teams
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency concepts and methods
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences
