Illinois Licensed Energy Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an Illinois Licensed Energy Engineer, the full-time remote position will manage the review of technical energy efficiency applications, assess energy systems in industrial and commercial markets, and research technology improvements while collaborating with project teams and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Review technical energy efficiency applications for incentives and rebates for Ameren Illinois customers
• Assess various energy-using systems, including HVAC and lighting, within industrial and commercial sectors
• Research and recommend technology changes to enhance energy efficiency programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel
• Experience working collaboratively in technical and non-technical teams
• Strong understanding of energy efficiency concepts and the Illinois Technical Reference Manual
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changes in project deliverables
