Job Summary

To support a growing legal practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Environmental Paralegal will manage asbestos and toxic tort litigation tasks, including client contact, document review, and trial preparation, with flexible hybrid and remote work options available.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist with case management, including discovery, document production, and trial support
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents for filing in Illinois federal and state courts
  • Maintain communication with clients and organize large caseloads effectively
Required qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in asbestos and/or toxic tort litigation
  • Significant knowledge of Illinois and federal court rules, e-filing, and calendaring procedures
  • Ability to work independently on pleadings, discovery, and motion preparation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016, Excel, and iManage
  • Paralegal certification and a Bachelor's degree are preferred but not required
