Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Illinois Licensed Family Law Attorney for a fully remote position, who will represent clients in various family law matters, develop case strategies, draft legal documents, and manage case progression while occasionally traveling to Chicago for trial preparations.
Key responsibilities
- Represent clients in divorce and other family law matters
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents
- Negotiate settlements and assist clients in reaching favorable resolutions
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active Illinois Bar license in good standing
- 7+ years of experience practicing family law with the ability to handle a caseload from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of Illinois family law and court procedures
