Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Insurance Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide commercial legal advice on product, marketing, and sales for health insurance and related products
• Draft, structure, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including technology and service contracts
• Advise on emerging legal issues and risk management in areas such as commercial contracts and regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• J.D. required and licensed to practice law
• 5+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Experience in health insurance regulations, particularly Medicare and short-term medical insurance
• Ability to manage outside counsel and budgets
• Experience in commercial transactions and highly regulated sectors
