Job Summary

To support a growing private wealth practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed High Net Worth Tax Principal will lead compliance and consulting services for high-net-worth individuals and families, manage client engagements, and mentor staff while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead compliance and consulting services for high-net-worth individuals, families, and their investment entities, including technical reviews of complex tax returns
• Advise clients on business succession planning and deliver proactive tax planning and strategic consulting
• Manage client engagement staffing, billing, and profitability while building relationships to acquire new clients and projects

Required qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in accounting or law
• CPA or JD certification
• Ten (10)+ years of experience in tax planning and consulting for wealthy individuals and their trusts
• Six (6)+ years of supervisory experience, including mentoring associates
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
