Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Data Integrity Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze data integrity in the Master Patient Index and electronic health record (EHR)
• Correct duplicate medical record numbers and manage MyChart proxy access requests
• Handle Interface Error work queues in the EMR and Care Everywhere work queues

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Experience: 6 months in Health Information Management (HIM), medical records, or electronic health records
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft software and solid computer skills
• Knowledge: Familiarity with health information management practices
• Certifications: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred
