Offering a flexible schedule, the part-time Illinois Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pet families in Joliet and Kankakee, focusing on compassionate care without the constraints of corporate environments or non-compete agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver in-home hospice and euthanasia services with a focus on compassion and dignity
- Manage a self-directed schedule while working independently in a mobile environment
- Communicate professionally with pet families and team members regarding care and services
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations
- Weekend availability on a rotational basis
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Demonstrated compassion and respect in all interactions
