Illinois Licensed HVAC Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for operational maintenance and repairs, the full-time Illinois Licensed HVAC Technician will perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on HVAC and other facility systems while working remotely in Illinois.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings
• Utilize CMMS to document tasks and maintain equipment histories
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety policies while performing maintenance tasks

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of related experience in general maintenance within a commercial facility setting
• Proven mechanical ability and aptitude for troubleshooting equipment
• Good computer skills, including experience with Building Management Systems
• Ability to interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
• Understanding of national and local codes for equipment repair
