Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced Illinois Licensed HVAC Technician will install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems in a full-time capacity, focusing on quality startups, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs while servicing the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Providing technical direction, on-the-job training, and ensuring compliance with safety standards
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Trade school diploma preferred
- 5+ years of experience as an HVAC technician, with a willingness to continue education in the HVAC field
- Valid driver's license
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
- Working knowledge of boiler systems and chilled water systems
