Illinois Licensed Insurance Reviewer

Job Summary

To support the insurance billing process, the full-time Illinois Licensed Insurance Reviewer will manage phone inquiries, process insurance vouchers, and analyze claims to secure payments from third-party payors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle phone calls and messages related to designated insurance areas
• Review and process insurance vouchers, including rebilling and adjustments
• Analyze claims and process corrections to ensure accurate billing and registration

Required qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required
• Previous experience in a medical billing office required
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding preferred
• Strong computer and typing skills required
