Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Therapist (Illinois License) - Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12 students and their guardians
• Collaborate with other therapists to ensure smooth transitions into services
• Provide culturally relevant counseling and maintain relationships with school personnel and families

Required Qualifications

• Licensed as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) without restrictions
• Licensed in Illinois for a minimum of 3 years
• Possess an additional license or be eligible to apply for one in specified states
• Willingness to be enrolled with insurance companies, including Medicaid
• Working knowledge of mental health treatment strategies for children and families
