Illinois Licensed Lead QA Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead QA Engineer to define and drive quality strategy across a modern cloud-native application stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end QA strategy, standards, and best practices
• Design and implement AI-assisted testing frameworks and integrate AI tools for test case generation
• Build robust automated test suites for a React-based frontend and develop API testing strategies

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA/Software Testing, with 2-3+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
• Hands-on experience testing React applications and APIs
• Solid understanding of cloud environments, preferably Azure
