Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including supply and licensing agreements
• Lead M&A transactions, litigation, and regulatory investigations while managing outside counsel

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school
• License to practice law in the state of Illinois
• At least 6 years of post-JD legal experience, ideally with both law firm and in-house exposure
• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Ability to provide legal advice on a variety of corporate and regulatory matters
