Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and lead M&A transactions
• Develop legal training programs and manage outside counsel

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school
• License to practice law in Illinois
• At least 6 years of post-JD legal experience, preferably in both law firm and in-house settings
• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Ability to provide legal advice across various corporate and regulatory matters
