Job Summary

A company is looking for a Litigation Attorney licensed in Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy and development
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence while managing cases from inception through resolution
• Take and defend depositions, and attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances as required

Qualifications

• Active Bar admission in Illinois (required)
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• 1-4 years of litigation experience preferred
• Prior experience in insurance defense and/or property damage claims
• Strong legal research skills with proficiency in tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
