Job Summary

To support policyholders in navigating legal challenges, the full-time Illinois Licensed Litigation Attorney will manage civil litigation, draft pleadings, and advocate for clients in various legal forums while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage civil litigation for the company and its insureds, adhering to established guidelines and ethical standards
• Draft necessary pleadings and conduct research to advance litigation activities at trial or appellate levels
• Advocate for client positions in state courts, alternative dispute resolution, and regulatory hearings

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree
• Admitted to the Illinois state bar
• Demonstrated litigation experience
• Solid knowledge of tort, contract, and insurance law
• Experience preparing civil pleadings, motions, and conducting witness depositions
