Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lost Time Claims Specialist, Workers' Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage indemnity claims by evaluating and establishing action plans for medical and indemnity benefits
- Conduct investigations and gather facts to determine claim outcomes based on established policies and guidelines
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the injured worker's return to work and manage claims costs
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Three years of experience in the field of workers' compensation insurance is required
- One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
- Experience in workers' compensation claims practices, laws, and court procedures
- Must be eligible to obtain additional licenses as required and pass the claims adjuster license exam(s) within 90 days of being hired
