Job Summary

Maintaining patient care supplies and ensuring the timely flow of patients, the full-time Illinois Licensed Medical Assistant will assist physicians and nurses in providing optimal care to patients and families at an Orthopedics Clinic in Olney, Illinois.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine direct patient care duties, including rooming patients and taking vitals
• Assist providers with minor procedures and maintain a safe patient care environment
• Collect and process specimens accurately and prepare unsterile instruments for sterilization

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days from the American Heart Association
• Experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred
