Job Summary
Maintaining patient care supplies and ensuring the timely flow of patients, the full-time Illinois Licensed Medical Assistant will assist physicians and nurses in providing optimal care to patients and families at an Orthopedics Clinic in Olney, Illinois.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine direct patient care duties, including rooming patients and taking vitals
- Assist providers with minor procedures and maintain a safe patient care environment
- Collect and process specimens accurately and prepare unsterile instruments for sterilization
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days from the American Heart Association
- Experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred
