Job Summary
To support a growing mental health initiative in schools, the part-time Illinois Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide teletherapy and mental health assessments to PreK-12 students and school staff, collaborating with educational professionals and families in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessments and teletherapy to students and school staff in partner districts
- Participate in case discussions with the interdisciplinary care team to enhance student support
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with school leadership and families to improve mental health services
Required qualifications
- Active associate or independent license in Illinois (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PhD/PsyD)
- At least two years of experience delivering mental health services to children and youth via telehealth
- Experience with therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing
- Access to reliable, high-speed internet for virtual sessions
- Ability to provide flexible hours, particularly during and after school hours
