Illinois Licensed Mortgage Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Providing oversight and guidance in mortgage compliance, the full-time Illinois Licensed Mortgage Compliance Specialist will support internal customers, assist in regulatory examinations, and develop compliance policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal customers to ensure compliance with state and federal lending laws and company policies
• Assist in preparing for federal and state regulatory examinations and internal audits by compiling necessary documentation
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures by researching regulatory changes and maintaining lending reference manuals

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Three to five years of consumer lending, administrative support, or related experience
• Mortgage processing experience preferred
• Working knowledge of consumer lending regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
