Job Summary

Supporting the Clinical Education team, the part-time Nursing Professional Development Specialist NE will assist with orientation, competency management, and educational initiatives while working remotely and focusing on data collection and analysis to meet organizational educational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements education initiatives and activities to promote positive learning environments
• Conducts needs assessments and evaluates learner outcomes to enhance patient care and staff competencies
• Mentors unit and department educators, facilitating professional growth and development

Required qualifications

• Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Experience in clinical education or professional development
• Ability to design and deliver educational sessions effectively
