Job Summary
To virtually close Home Equity loans for the state of Illinois, the full-time Illinois Licensed Online Notary will manage customer interactions, process necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process and prepare paperwork for Home Equity loan closings, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to gather necessary documents and provide loan status updates
- Assemble final loan packages, calculate loan settlement statements, and coordinate the closing to funding process
Required qualifications
- Must reside in Illinois and hold an Illinois Licensed Online Notary certification
- Up to two years of relevant experience in Home Equity loans and closing procedures preferred
- Familiarity with loan origination systems such as Net Oxygen and/or BLEND is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and knowledge of applicable credit policies and approval processes
- Ability to navigate complex documentation needs and work with legal teams as necessary
