Job Summary
Supporting multiple attorneys in a full-time capacity, the Illinois Licensed Paralegal will manage a high-volume caseload while drafting legal documents, organizing records, and conducting case law research in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and discovery motions while managing multiple cases
- Organize and process incoming records and invoices, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding items
- Conduct case law research using Lexis Advance to assist attorneys in trial preparation and defense strategies
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a practice group paralegal
- Familiarity with state courts and e-filing procedures
- Experience in drafting legal documents and managing billing processes
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Word
- Experience with Lexis Advance for legal research
