Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in managing prescription orders and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system in compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Obtain complete prescription information from healthcare providers and assist pharmacists with missing details
• Support patient adherence by updating medication and medical history records and triaging calls as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting preferred
• Current Illinois Certified Pharmacy Technician license with maintained CE requirements
• Retail pharmacy experience and knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong and accurate data entry skills
