Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Billing Specialist (Part Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Process and follow-up on billing for resident prescriptions, including understanding various insurance types
• Adjudicate insurance claims, troubleshoot rejected claims, and complete prior authorization forms
• Perform data entry and generate monthly statements while ensuring compliance and following core processes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of pharmacy billing experience
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Licensed and in good standing as an Illinois Pharmacy Technician
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
