Job Summary
Providing prescription assistance in various ambulatory settings, the full-time Illinois Licensed Pharmacy Technician will evaluate patient needs, manage applications for medication assistance programs, and coordinate logistics while working onsite in Champaign, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to identify prescription assistance needs and connect them with resources
- Manage applications for medication assistance programs, securing necessary paperwork for qualified patients
- Collaborate with care teams to develop and execute prescription plans for discharging patients
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must obtain Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license within 60 days of applying
- Must become a Certified Pharmacy Technician within 2 years of license issue date
- Experience in a related field is preferred
