Job Summary
To support the expansion of clinical delivery infrastructure, an Illinois Licensed Physician Owner will serve as the President of one or more affiliated medical groups on a part-time, remote basis, focusing on clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and oversight of NP-led care models for skilled nursing and home health patients.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as sole (or majority) shareholder, director, and President of state-specific professional corporations
- Provide clinical governance by approving clinical protocols, quality standards, and scope-of-practice policies
- Oversee credentialing, peer review, and clinical quality committees while maintaining Medicare enrollment and compliance
Required qualifications
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license and willingness to obtain additional state licensure
- Active, unrestricted DEA registration and current Medicare enrollment with no issues
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred
- Experience supervising NPs or serving as Medical Director in post-acute or value-based care settings
- Clean compliance profile with no OIG/SAM exclusions or state board discipline
