Illinois Licensed Physician Owner

Job Summary

To support the expansion of clinical delivery infrastructure, an Illinois Licensed Physician Owner will serve as the President of one or more affiliated medical groups on a part-time, remote basis, focusing on clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and oversight of NP-led care models for skilled nursing and home health patients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as sole (or majority) shareholder, director, and President of state-specific professional corporations
• Provide clinical governance by approving clinical protocols, quality standards, and scope-of-practice policies
• Oversee credentialing, peer review, and clinical quality committees while maintaining Medicare enrollment and compliance

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license and willingness to obtain additional state licensure
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration and current Medicare enrollment with no issues
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred
• Experience supervising NPs or serving as Medical Director in post-acute or value-based care settings
• Clean compliance profile with no OIG/SAM exclusions or state board discipline
