Job Summary
To support a growing virtual practice, the part-time Illinois Licensed Primary Therapist will conduct individual therapy sessions, collaborate with outpatient teams, and develop treatment plans for patients experiencing mental health crises, working remotely with a schedule from 12:00pm to 8:00pm CST.
Key responsibilities:
- Completing initial intake evaluations to determine diagnosis and appropriateness for the program
- Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in individual and group therapy sessions
- Coordinating care with patients' providers to ensure continuity and quality of care
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology or a related field with clinical experience
- 2+ years of clinical work experience post-Master's (strongly preferred)
- Independent clinical licensure (strongly preferred)
- Experience with evidence-based therapies, including CBT and DBT
- Prior experience in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential settings
