Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and diagnose mental health conditions for adolescent and adult patients
• Prescribe medications and monitor patients' treatment responses and medication side effects
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) while adhering to compliance standards

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
• Comfort working with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
