Job Summary

To provide high-quality psychiatric care to children, teens, and young adults, the part-time or full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct telehealth evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a clinician-led team in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth and formulate evidence-based diagnoses
• Develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe psychotropic medications, and provide supportive therapy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care and maintain accurate documentation

Required qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
• Current, unrestricted PMHNP license in Illinois and DEA; multi-state or compact licensure preferred
• Board certification as PMHNP-BC
• Experience with or passion for working with youth and families
• Comfort and competence in a telehealth environment
