Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and provide individual psychotherapy to patients
• Prescribe medications and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects, ensuring effective treatment
• Document patient histories, treatment plans, and outcomes while complying with HIPAA and other regulations

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
• Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, including adolescents and adults
• Familiarity with EHR systems and timely documentation practices
