Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' mental and physical status, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
• Collaborate with team members to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive treatment plans
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record while adhering to compliance standards

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
• Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health, with comfort working with patients across the lifespan
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual-diagnoses
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain timely documentation in EHRs
