Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients' mental and physical health based on symptoms, conducting individual psychotherapy as needed
- Prescribe medications, monitor usage and side effects, and educate patients and families about treatment options
- Document patient histories, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfortable working with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual-diagnoses
