Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing psychiatry team, the part-time contract Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct online psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care to children, teens, and young adults through a secure telehealth platform.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct online comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management
- Collaborate with supervising psychiatrists and partner with therapists for cohesive support
Required qualifications
- Active PMHNP certification and licensure in Illinois (additional states a plus)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Strong clinical judgment with a collaborative communication style
- Comfort and fluency with virtual care delivery
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week
