Job Summary
Providing comprehensive mental health care, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate treatment plans and monitor patients' medication use
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Must have experience working with adults in need of general mental health and/or severe mental illness (SMI) treatment
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
