Job Summary
To support justice-involved individuals on their recovery journey, the full-time Illinois Licensed Recovery Coach will build trusting relationships, utilize personal recovery experience, and collaborate with clients and the Holon care team to develop personalized recovery plans, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build trusting, nonjudgmental relationships with clients based on shared lived experience
- Collaborate with participants and the care team to develop personalized recovery plans
- Connect clients to community resources and advocate for them within various systems
Required qualifications
- Certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRS) or Peer Recovery Coach
- A person in sustained recovery with at least one year of lived experience (strongly preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- 1-2 years in a peer support role is strongly preferred
- Experience working with justice-involved populations is a plus
