Job Summary

A company is looking for an RN - Pre-Anesthesia Assessment Center.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure completion of pre-anesthesia requirements for surgical patients
Provide support and direction to surgery schedulers and serve as a liaison with various medical offices
Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient education regarding anesthesia and surgical procedures

Required Qualifications

Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
College diploma in Nursing
Experience in a clinical nursing role
Knowledge of anesthesia-related tests, medications, and contraindications
