Job Summary
Managing complex non-clinical denials, the full-time Illinois Licensed Revenue Cycle Coordinator will focus on timely resolution and prevention of payment denials while working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in Peoria, Illinois.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the management of complex non-clinical denials and understand payer requirements for effective resolution
- Identify root causes of denials and propose solutions for prevention, collaborating with leadership for execution and training
- Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze denial trends and improve processes within the revenue cycle
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree with 2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle healthcare functions, or a High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience
- Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification required within 12 months of hire
- Proficiency with Microsoft software and solid computer skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
