Job Summary

Providing guidance and oversight, the full-time Illinois Licensed Revenue Cycle Nurse Auditor will review clinical documentation for audits, ensure accurate patient billing, and collaborate with healthcare teams, working remotely with occasional in-person training in Peoria, Illinois.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation of patient care for internal and external audits
• Examine medical records to ensure accuracy in patient billing
• Collaborate with facility teams and compliance officers to address clinical concerns and strengthen internal processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Two years of RN experience
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR functionality
• Strong communication skills for interactions with healthcare providers and patients
