Illinois Licensed Risk Placement Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Select Business Unit's New Business team, the full-time Senior Risk Placement Specialist will evaluate, market, negotiate, and place commercial insurance new business opportunities, working hybrid or remotely while collaborating with insurance carriers and internal partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial insurance submissions and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions
• Negotiate terms and obtain quotes directly from insurance carriers to ensure optimal coverage solutions
• Maintain strong business relationships with carriers, underwriters, and internal producers to facilitate successful placements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of commercial insurance experience within a retail brokerage or independent agency
• Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts
• P&C License required
• Experience with E&S Marketplace coverage is required
