Job Summary

Illinois Licensed RN Auditor, responsible for conducting audits of patient accounts prior to billing, ensuring compliance with coding and regulatory guidelines, in a full-time remote position with a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily audits of inpatient, observation, and outpatient accounts, ensuring accurate charge documentation
• Track and analyze charge anomalies, providing feedback and education to clinical staff as necessary
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits and control evaluations, presenting findings to leadership

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Experience in auditing and compliance within a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and charge-related regulations
• Ability to manage complex projects and conduct training sessions
