Job Summary

Illinois Licensed RN Triage Specialist, a full-time position providing nurse triage support to nursing facilities and providers, focusing on operational efficiency and clinical quality, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and occasional evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides nurse-triage support to nursing facilities and providers, ensuring adherence to established guidelines
• Utilizes hospital-approved tools and protocols to advise callers on health issues and direct them to appropriate care levels
• Maintains accurate documentation and follows up on triaged calls, ensuring effective communication with healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current Illinois RN license
• Experience in nursing or triage support preferred
• Proficiency in using healthcare software, including EPIC
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Knowledge of nursing protocols and guidelines for patient care
