Illinois Licensed Sales Tax Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sales Tax Compliance Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Billing Operations in calculating and invoicing Sales Tax
• Renew and apply for business licenses and prepare, file sales and use tax returns
• Assist with sales tax audits and process tax payments with multiple taxing jurisdictions

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales tax
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with Avalara, Vertex, or similar tax software
• Ability to navigate and utilize ERP/Accounting systems effectively
