Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time salaried Illinois Licensed Senior Accountant will manage the preparation and reporting of monthly financial statements, coordinate the annual budget process, and oversee tax return preparations, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual operating budget process, including system development, management support, and board review
• Prepare monthly financial and operating statements, including budget variance analysis and audit coordination
• Administer the accounting system and oversee the preparation of federal and state income tax returns

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
• Experience in financial reporting and budget management
• Knowledge of tax return preparation for nonprofit organizations
• Familiarity with accounting systems and internal controls
• Certification as a Senior Accountant in Illinois
